The Mad Giant Angus MacPherson: classic Marauder giant. This model formed the anchor of my greenskin army (the 1st one I ever collected)and has been a centerpiece in my armies for 15yrs. When I retired the greenskins and started the chaos army, I decided to repaint Angus so he could take the field once more. Angus got his name from the first bring-n-battle event I played at GW College PArk, where Jeremy's Mad Giant Angus McPherson led a tribe of trolls in destroying a small Empire town.
Today Angus leads the army into every battle, alongside his much less competent (and much smaller) kinsmen. Angus's greatest feat so far was in an RTT in VA, when in the 2nd round game he was charged by two units of VC and a vampire lord. Angus jumped up and down on the vampire general and squished him, forcing the entire VC army to collapse. In the the 3rd game, Angus spent several turns headbutting a treeman until he managed to smash him with his club, helping the Drunken Marauders to go 3-0 and win the whole RTT. Hooray for good luck!

As worshippers of the Wolf God Ragnar (the Albion name for Khorne), the marauders have a special affinity for wolves. These two works in progress are the chaos war shrine (2 wolves pulling a cauldron of blood and guts) and 1 of 2 spawn (werewolves made by combining rat ogre and wolf bitz). I hope to get them done soon!

Blood for the Blood God? The chaos War shrine started out as a fun choice for the army, if only because it allowed me to do something in the shooting phase. Overall though it was a waste of points, and I now sometimes employ the shrine as a unit filler for my marauders.
