The Sanguinary Skulls are a cursed chapter of the 21st Founding, a derivative chapter from tainted Blood Angel gene-seed. Originally tasked with hunting down WAAAGH! Borak, the Marines began feasting on their greenskin victims as part of their ritual post-battle sacrifices to the Emperor. Unfortunately, many members of the chapter suffered from a defective omophagea, whereby the genetic material of the Orks was absorbed into the Marine's memory. This has the subtle side effect of making the Marines act a bit "Orky" - acting reckless in battle and painting their armor in red because they believe it makes their bikes faster. Unable to sustain chapter numbers and wary of a purge by the Inquisition, the Sanguinary Skulls go to extraordinary lengths to attack Orks wherever they are found. Some say this is to prove their loyalty to the Emperor, others believe it is becuase they crave the taste of green flesh...
